
HOW TO LISTEN TO YOUR BODY
We’ve all heard someone say, “just listen to your body.” But…what does that even mean?? If you’re exercising regularly, this is especially important in order to give your body the rest it needs. How do you do that? Try some of these tips to get more in touch with your body so that you’re acknowledging the signals it’s trying to give you!

Make note how you’re feeling physically/emotionally - Warning signs
Our bodies send us warning signs when they begin to feel the pressure. For ex, sickness, injury, feeling lethargic, lack of sleep, etc. - Meditate
This can help you get more in touch with your body as well as gain a better sense of awareness of yourself and your surroundings - Eat mindfully
Try not to rush your meals so you can get back to what you were doing. Slow down and use your senses to fully taste the meal, feel the different textures and enjoy it. - Trust your intuition
Ask yourself: “what feels right?”
